Qinghua Wucai relied on simple but loose patterns that fill the entire space on the vessel. In color choices, Wucai had red, light and dark greens, yellow, purple and underglaze blue. It especially emphasizes red so that the entire composition appeared more dashing and striking, purposely seeking resplendence.
